Artworks of the Post-War Era

The focus of this auction is on impressive prints and drawings from the time after 1945. One of the highlights, apart from Andy Warhols drawing ?James Dean? from 1985, which probably belongs to his works for an advertisement portfolio, is the 2011 created Rosenthal porcelain plate, showing the iconic Marilyn portrait by Warhol. Further intriguing items are the linoleum cuts ?Twilight 1 & 2? by Alex Katz from 2008, the large-format print ?The Box? by Robert Longo as well as Damien Hirsts ?For the Love of God? ? a serigraph displaying Hirsts diamond-studded, life-size platinum cast of a human skull.
