We have an array of fiery reds to bright greens, to include lot 1 an Edwardian period pendant, estimated at £300 ? 500, to a striking red tourmaline and diamond cluster ring, lot 181, estimated at £1200 ? 1,800. The front cover features a ladybird flower ring, lot 479, together with lot 473, a South Sea pearl and diamond Peacock brooch and lot 16 a diamond riviere. The lushness of the season is reflected by the captivating emeralds featured on plate 4, many of which are of Columbian origin, the star lot being lot 255 a pair of emerald and diamond earrings, estimated at £9,000 ? 14,000. For those who prefer the brilliance and fire of a diamond, there are two diamonds not to be missed in this sale. Lot 189, a heart-shape diamond weighing 5.02cts, with a G colour and SI2 clarity, estimated at £25,000 ? 35,000. Featured on the back cover, we have lot 154, a rectangular-cut diamond, weighing 3.30cts, with an F colour and VSI clarity estimated at £20,000 ? 30,000.
