Clarke's February 26th auction will offer estate fresh fine art, period antiques, midcentury modern and decorative arts. Fine art features American artists such as: Edmund Greacean, Charles Sarka, Isaac Wiktin, Alexander Calder, Florence Mackubin, Hyman Bloom, Leonard Baskin, Peter Grippe, Aubrey Schwartz, David Aronson, and more. European artist include: Hamilton Hamilton, James Flack, Anton Fenz, William Dolland, Pal Fried, Rico LeBrun, Hermon di Giovanno, Van Elven, Eduard Merk, Zuzana Chalupova, as well as a Greek icon on board, several old master works, and more. Period antiques such as an antique Welsh cupboard, a pair of Regency game tables, a Georgian console table, 3 Pianos including a Steinway baby grand, a beautiful burl walnut grand and Bosendorfer baby grand. Midcentury items are highlighted by a set of David Allen cabinets, Camer chandeliers, Parzinger, John Stewert, and many danish modern pieces. Decorative arts include a large collection of clocks, chandeliers, porcelain, sterling silver, carpets, bronzes, etc. Finally, numerous lots of Asian items such as paintings, porcelain, jade, screens, and furniture.
