The Saturday auction presents the pate-sur-pate collection of Dr. Douglas and Sylvia Chandler of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., featuring Louis Solon exhibition pieces and plaques, along with vases and urns by Mintons, George Jones, Moore Bros. and Meissen. An extensive offering of antique furnishings, decorative arts, bronze sculptures, tapestries and oil paintings from the Gloria Bradley Trust over 200 lots. And from private collectors: Navajo weavings, Zuni and Hopi pottery, Apache and Hupa basketry, including items from the collection of Dr. Robert Walkowiak, Canton, Mich.; a Royal Vienna covered urn presented by the Emperor Franz Joseph, circa 1886; a late 19th century KPM porcelain plaque after Raphael; Chinese and Indian ivory carvings; Steuben and Waterford crystal; early 20th century lamps reverse-painted and slag glass lamps including a Miller "Statue of Liberty"; a Louis Vuitton "Alma" hand bag; fine jewelry and a variety of oriental rugs from semi antique to modern.
