5 Chinese 19th Century Silk 4-Claw Dragon Robe Embroidery Fragments on brown silk: a forward facing Dragon from the robe front with discoloration to the side closure-border and 2 horse-hoof cuffs from the sleeves, the 3 matted and framed; together with 2 opposing Dragons from the base above the water embroidery each framed. Width of 3 framed together 18 1/2 inches (47 cm.). Height of each framed Dragon fragment 13 3/4 inches (35 cm.).
