Antique Chinese Terracotta Green Glaze Parrot Roof Tile. Made during the Qing Dynasty, this terracotta Parrot has a deep green Sancai glaze applied. These figurines were put on roofs for the purpose of protecting homes and producing positive chi, with the number of parrots indicating the buildings importance.

Dimensions are 8.5 in h x 2.5 in w x 2.5 in d. Condition is good with a few chips and minor surface wear. Part of label is still present on back of parrots head. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
