2 (Two) shelf clocks: (1) Forestville Manufacturing Co., (J.C. Brown), Bristol, Conn., sharp gothic or steeple clock, mahogany veneered case, painted metal dial, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement, c1850 (2) Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow, Conn., half column with OG molding, rosewood veneeered case, painted metal dial, 30 hour, time and strike spring driven brass movement, c1860

Condition

(1) Mahogany veneered case in an original finish has some loss on the base and a ding at the upper left front molding. Original painted dial has turned yellow along the edges, some loss at 6 o'clock and wear to the numbers. The two finials look to be replacements. Original tablet and bone knob. Clean label inside. (2) Rosewood veneered case in original finish with scattered finish losses. There is small veneer loss on the base. The columns have lost much of their gilding. Original painted dial has scattered loss. Original hands and tablet. Clean label inside.
