Kangxi period (1661-1722)
The pair of parcel gilt 'snowflake blue' plates each with water lily motif and each with double concentric rings centered by a kangxi chop mark. Each plate with water lily scene and some traces of original gilt decoration. (2)

Provenance: One plate retains the (1910-1943) sticker of prominent dealer, "FRANK PARTRIDGE & SONS LTD / WORKS OF ART / 26 KING STREET / St. James's S.W. / and at New York". Partridge moved to 26 King Street in 1910 and remained until April 16, 1943 when the King Street premises were obliterated by German bombing during WWII.
