Buddy L Large Concrete Mixer #280 with Treads Pressed Steel Toy - Offered Without Reserve - This is an original and unrestored example of one of the most highly prized Buddy L toys ever produced, the 1926 version of the large concrete mixer on treads with the green water tanks and pulley system. This example has some play wear but is fairly well-preserved. The original light gray paint has darkened with age and the decals have also darkened with some flaking. The folding crank spins the hopper, but the loading chute pullies need to be restrung, while the off-loading chute operates as designed. The steel treads operate when rolled across the floor. This is the hard-to-find green-tank, tracked version. 16" L x 15" W x 16" H (with chutes raised).
