1950s Gas Station Steel Trash Receptacle - Offered Without Reserve - Receptacles like this were commonly placed on the gasoline pump islands from the late 1940s to the late 1960s, this example constructed of pressed steel and painted a medium olive green, has a canted top with dual "Push" sprung lids that automatically close, in very good condition, produced by Bennett Mfg. Co, Alden, New York, 42" H x 11.5" D x 11.5" W.
