American, early 20th century, opalescent trumpet form decorated with green pulled feathers, gold iridescent interior, gold domed foot, signed "Quezal M326", 8 in. - Provenance: Mary Slater, Suffern, New York, purchased July 1973 for $575; Estate of Jay R. Doros, Springfield, New Jersey - Note: This vase was included in the exhibition "Flights of Fancy: The Quezal Art Glass and Decorating Company" at the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village, Millville, New Jersey, April 13 through October 20, 1996, curated by Gay LeCleire Taylor. This piece is illustrated in the exhibition catalog on page 7, fig. 7.
