With gilt metal mounts by E.F.Caldwell & Co., New York,  transforming it into an ash receiver, the porcelain bowl hand painted with chrysanthemums, peonies and other flowers, with six character seal mark for Daoguang (1821-1850) the gilt metal mountings engraved on the bottom, "E.F.Caldwell & Co. New York. " Dimensions   3 x 4.25 in. Condition Bowl with two hairlines. Gilt metal foot loose from base.
