Ceremonial Dayak Textile Pua with Ikat dyed motifs on cotton, Borneo, Sarawak State, Malaysia, c.1910-1930, from the coastal area, near or in the Saribas area. Natural dyes except in border area; the figurative motifs may be frogs, associated with the rain and abundance. Rare empty central panel, associated with head hunting. Some staining.
