Pair of Meissen porcelain polychrome figural sweet meat dishes including one of a man and one of a woman, both in 18th century dress and lying on their sides, holding small dishes. The male figure is marked with the Meissen blue crossed swords mark, incised "2863," and impressed "163" and "28" along the underside. The female figure is marked with the Meissen blue crossed swords mark, incised "2858," and impressed "163" and "81" along the underside.
