1762, by J. B. Homann & Homann Heirs, from "Atlas Homannianus Mathematico-Historice Delineatus", original hand color. Nuremberg, Germany. Authenticity Guaranteed. Located in south west France, the former Roman province, shows the region around Gironde river, with the Pyrenees mountains to the south, Mediterranean in the south west. A insert shows a Panoramic view of Bordeaux. Other two inserts show fortified cities of Bayonnes and Blays. A massive and intricate title cartouche shows the cost of arms supported by two women in ancient and medieval dress. A figure dressed in Roman Military attire holds a spear and a decorated shield. A merman below.
