Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades, amber brown paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, eyeliner, brushstroked and feathered brows, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, mohair wig over cork pate, original kid bebe body with gusset jointing of hips and knees, curved kid arms to below the elbows, bisque forearms, wears contemporary light brown French-style dress with matching bonnet, newer brown leather shoes. Commentary: Circa 1880 bebe by Leon Casimir Bru, rare petite size, fine bisque with pale complexion, original body; vertical hairline at center back, right hand has breaks which have been glued back together.
