Antique Chinese cloisonne enameled snuff bottle having a yellow ground and depicting floral blooms. Measures approx. 2 3/4" height x 2" width (7cm x 5.1cm). Provenance: Professor Wu Jilu's Chinese porcelaincollection of Sung & Ming Dynasty ceramics. Prof. Wu Jilu was a professor in Chinese Literature and an avid collector of Chinese porcelain antiques, especially those with strong Sung Dynasty style & flavor. He owneda collection of over 100 items from China’s Sung, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. He had purchased most of those collections from various antiques shops and small auction houses across the world over the past 25years. Some of his antique collections were auctioned by major auction houses, such as Sotheby’s and China’s Guardian Auction in Hong Kong.
