Billiot, Cyril (Houma, LA. 20th century). A group of four painted and carved wood roosters. Two signed on bottom. Shortest: 17" x 22 1/2" x 4 1/2". Tallest: 18" x 20" x 3".

Condition: One separated toe. One has evident repair to neck.
Provenance: From the collection of Betty-Carol Sellen and Martha Burt. Cyril Billiot was a Houma tribe American Indian artist. Betty-Carol Sellen visited the artist regularly at his home in Houma, LA. and purchased pieces directly from him.
