CONDITION
Observed in frame, the painting appears in age-appropriate condition. The canvas has been wax lined. Very fine and stable craquelure, most notably to the upper right corner and edge. Light surface scuffs visible to the left side of the Dutchess. Visible inpainting, most notably to the column on by the left upper edge. Inspection under UV shows retouching to around 50% of the figure (forehead, head, neck and bodice).
