A LOUIS XVI STYLE ORMOLU CLOCK, 19TH CENTURY

an urn shaped body, with foliate scrolls shaped as handles, the cover features a bouquet of rosettes, the base of the urn formed from acanthus leaves centered with a garooned shaped pine final, two triton putti flank either side of the urn, each draped in acanthus leaves with a vine of rosettes connecting the two, the clock face with roman numerals and arabic numerals, and a twin-train movement, the hands of gilt metal formed as scrolls, all atop a rectangular base with foliate strapwork on four toupie feet, the interior mechanism stamped 203; overall height of clock: 43 cm (16 7/8 in.); dimensions of clock base: 35.56 x 15 cm (14 x 5 7/8 in.)

CONDITION
The clock appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall surface dust visible to the mantle clock. Minor patina visible to the gadrooned pine finial as well as the bodies of the putti's. Should be noted that the clock was not wound and does not appear in working condition.
