This theatre poster by Mucha, the first without Sarah Bernhardt, was one of three projects he did with the printer Camis before settling with Champenois. It is divided into three parts: in the top left a Guignol theatre amuses the children, in the top right a dramatic illustration of a weeping woman falling on a table, and finally in the lower part scenes from the play. There are elegant characters, a violinist, flowers, dancers and champagne, all that characterizes the Parisian celebrations of the Belle Epoque. .
