Liu Haisu (March 16, 1896-August 7, 1994), named Pan, with the word Jifang, and the name Haiweng. Han nationality, from Changzhou, Jiangsu. Modern outstanding painter and art educator. China Democratic League federate. In his early years, he studied oil painting, and he was old and strong. It is also a traditional Chinese painting, and the lines have the power of steel and iron. Later, he devoted himself to the ink-splashing method, the pen is flying and the ink is dancing, and the spirit is extraordinary. In his later years, he used the splashing color method to make the colors brilliant and vigorous.

PROVENANCE:From The Estate of David George Glen (1924-2016) of Delaware, raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of William and Agnes Glen. His formal education was completed at Daniels Stewarts College, Edinburgh, after which he entered the field of medicine. He was a certified rehabilitation specialist, serving in military and civilian hospitals in the United Kingdom. From 1942 to 1945, he served in the Royal Air Force. In 1955 David immigrated to the United States, becoming a citizen in 1961.
