Roberto Pulido González was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México, on november 13th 1970. He has a degree on Visual Arts for Plastic Expression from the University of Guadalajara. He has over 25 years of experience in plastic creation.

His work is recognized by its constant evolution, which is influenced by the the European paintings from the 20th century, and by abstract expressionism: Particularly from artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Kandinsky and Paul Klee. He has also experimented with drawings, paintings, sculpture and graphic work.

During his career, he has developed his own language in which we can perceive figurative elements. Which along with symbolic elements are typical in abstract work. His visual art includes elements ranging from primal art to universal iconography from antic cultures through contemporary plastic solutions.

He was awarded the first prize of the painting contest “El Caballo”, and the second prize of the painting contest “José Atanasio Monroy” in 1999. He was granted support from the National Fund for Art and Culture (FONCA) from 1994-1995. He also received a Scholarship for the development and creation of art from 2010-2011. The latter awarded by the National Council of Art and Culture (CONACULTA) and the state of Jalisco. His work is well known in Mexico, Spain, the United States and Brazil. His work is present in museums, private collections and public collections in Mexico and over the world. For 25 years he has exhibited his work in Mexico, Spain, the United States and Brazil.
