Contemporary Musical Automaton of a Bawdy Monk by Zdenka, Spain, 20th Century
With antique bisque head modelled as a young man with serene expression, blue eyes and moulded tonsure, dressed in a floor-length black habit and underwear, standing before a winding key disguised as a brass cross, on velvet-covered base containing single-air cylinder musical movement, ht. 8 1/2 in. (21,5 cm). A small automaton with a very surprising action. The monk raises his head and slowly opens his habit to reveal his manhood moving in time to the music.

Mit Biskuitporzellankopf, junger Mann mit gelassenen Gesichtszügen, blauen Augen und Tonsur, gekleidet in bodenlangem Gewand und Unterwäsche, auf samtbezogenem Sockel mit dem Federwerkmotor, Walzenspielwerk mit 1 Melodie und der Mechanik. Der Mönch bewegt den Kopf, öffnet langsam seinen Umhang und hebt und senkt sein Glied im Takt der Musik. Das Kreuz hinter der Figur dient als Aufziehschlüssel. Gesamthöhe: 21,5 cm. Ein kleiner Automat mit sehr überraschender Animation. Funktioniert.
