Shepard Hardware Company Buffalo, NY - Early 1890's Excellent Plus & Bright Sometimes, mechanical banks portray small vignettes from a child's life. Here, for example, we find two boys playfully leap-frogging over each other's backs. To operate the bank, set the standing figure behind the boy who is bent over. Place a penny in the slot at the top of the tree stump. Pressing the activation button found on the back of the bank causes the boy to make his dramatic hop over his friend's back.
