(California Adventure, 2001) A rare original invitation to the grand opening of Disney California Adventure. The fold-out invitation contains a three-layer die-cut pop-up depicting California-themed landmarks with a panoramic photo of the park in the background. A removable leaf details the February 5-8, 2001 event and RSVP information. These invitations were exclusively sent to park personnel and VIPs, and relatively few were retained after the event. Measuring 4.5"x9.75" folded, the invitation is in fine condition with minor spidering to folds and edge and corner wear.
