1) CZECH MODEL 98/29 PERSIAN. Cal. 8x57mm. S# R7721. Bbl. 29 1/4". Very nice example w/ crisp markings of Persian Model 98/29 rifle mfg. in Czechoslovakia. All original markings are in Farsi & numbers match throughout. Import marked under bbl. & rifle given importer S# of "R7721". Untouched Persian lion crest on top of receiver ring. Straight bolt handle. Tangent rear sight. Inverted V front sight w/ protective ears. Cleaning rod is present. All milled furniture. Matching walnut stock set. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered 15 3/8" fullered blade bayonet w/ walnut grips. Bayonet is marked only w/ S#. Blued steel scabbard. Bright finished bayonet has scattered stains & handling marks, but very nice overall appearance. Scabbard has 80% blue w/ sm. scratches & sm. spots of peppery oxidation. CONDITION: original finish stock set has very light wear & scattered sm. handling marks throughout. Metal has 90% original blue w/ scattered sm. spots of missing finish. Near excellent shiny bore. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 8 1/4" spear point blade bayonet w/ checkered steel grip. Left ricasso marked w/ crown acceptance mark & "534". Right ricasso has crown of "C". Steel scabbard marked w/ "L / 12 / No. 45b / No. 4035". Bayonet has been sharpened. Blued crossguard, grip & scabbard have 70% finish w/ thinning & wear. CONDITION: Stock set has moderate wear & handling marks throughout. Metal has 75% thinning original blue w/ light wear & scattered sm. scratches. Very good shiny bore. (21-1187/RW).
