Nice piece of Connecticut toy history! Hand-Painted & stenciled tin with clockwork mechanism, 14.5” long, circa 1870s. Our key wasn’t long enough for a wind, but mechanism, is loose and well lubricated. It has much better paint than usually seen at over 75%. Nice example. From the Clint Miller Collection.
