The fine period gilt wood frame displaying a small oil painting reminiscent of the oft copied Adoration of The Shepherds, though the central figure appears to be St. Michael, the unidentified image appears to be painted on wood panel.
Frame measures 12 x 9.5 inches.
Provenance: The multi-generation collection of an early Kansas City family in the same home since 1962.
