After Giovanni Battista Piranesi (Italian, 1720 – 1778). "Veduta del Ponte Molle sul Tevere due miglia lontan da Roma" or "View of the Ponte Molle (or Milvian Bridge) over the Tiber two miles outside Rome, from Views of Rome" - 1762, etching on wove paper, signed lower right in plate. From "Vedute di Roma", etching depicting a multiple arch bridge over the Tiber river. Approx. 21" x 31.875" (sheet), 17.375", x 26.75" (plate), 26.5" x 35.75" (frame).
Condition
Toning; multiple tears/wrinkles; laid down; graphite notations to edge (not visible).
