American, likely New York or Philadelphia, mid 19th century. Victorian Classical rosewood sewing table with side fabric baskets, center storage, and scroll feet on casters. Apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Lifetime Collection of Billy S. Arant, Jr., Chattanooga, TN. Approx. h. 29", w. 26", d. 17".
Condition
Were commensurate with age and use. Scattered repairs, small loss to veneer, fading and some tears to fabric, and overall small nicks and scratches to wood. Stable condition.
