Description
STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP PLATE, having black transfer portrait medallion of "LA FAYETTE" flanked by two female figures holding a laurel wreath above his head with spread-wing eagle below. Impressed rosette to underside. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 3 3/4" D.
Undamaged except for a minor flake to rim and foot ring, possibly as made, minor wear to rim edge.
