Note: The lot is also accompanied by a copy of a letter containing correspondence between the collector and the artist, in which the collector recounts a visit with Umehara and his wife. During the visit, the collector received both a book (presumably the one listed here) and a "reproduction of 'Anemones, 1962'" as gifts from the artist. Also included with the lot are photographs of the artist and his wife, taken by the collector during his visit.
