This is a handsome estate found original graphite and watercolor painting by Danish architect/illustrator Elliot Hjuler (1893-1968). The painting features a striking architectural facade over canals. The buildings are wonderfully reflected in the surface of the water. As an architect, Hjuler built a large number of villas and residential properties in and around Copenhagen. Signed by the artist in the lower right corner and dated for 1924. - 17 x 13"

In overall good condition. There is a slight bend to the board. As pictured, there are dings and losses to the edges and corners. There is some toning and light wear to the painting. This condition is consistent with age.
