Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong sky blue garlic bottle. Potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, rounded shoulder, long cylindrical neck, round open lip with slight flaring, raised on short small ring, with slight concaved foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a sky blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely exterior, glazed smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
