Early 1800 Gentleman's Silhouette in Brass Frame - eglomise glass mat, hollow cut fabric silhouette, frame measures 4 3/4" X 6". No issues. Many other silhouettes in this sale from a very old collection, some with an early paper number pasted to the back side, some with notes as to where they were purchased as early as 1923. Note - Approximately 40 silhouettes throughout this sale from a vary early collection, some with paper numbers on the backside cataloged when purchased from New Hampshire and East Coast antique stores as early as 1920. Unfortunately the actual catalog has long since disappeared. Some silhouettes will sell in groups. They vary in condition and content.
