Jane Bauman
California, New York,20th Century
Depicts a seated cat comprised of shades of blue. Bauman recieved a BFA at Santa Clara University and an MFA at San Francisco Art Institute where she became influenced by the punk movement and began to participate in street art. She then moved to New York and joined the East Village Art Scene where she was represented by Civilian Warfare Gallery.

Titled, numbered, and signed "Black Cat 9/12 Jane Bauman" faintly in pencil under image, marked "Jane Bauman 9/12" on verso.
