Oversized sheet, measuring 15.75" x 3.75" (sight), Great Britain rights reserved, copyright 1933. A large print comic strip by Percy L. Crosby, dated July 1933, released by King Features Syndicate Inc. "Skippy", featuring the characters Skippy Skinner and his friend, Sockey, in which Skinny has had a violent encounter with a goat. Matted and framed to the overall size of 21.5" x 9.25". Light uneven toning and soiling, else very good.
The "Skippy" comic strip, written and drawn by Percy Crosby, was published from 1923 to 1945. The strip follows young Skippy Skinner and his adventures with friends and foes. It would go on to be adapted into a novel, radio show, and a 1931 film. Skippy would go on to be an inspiration for Charles Schultz's Peanuts.
