Mob Hitman Joseph Carmine Testa Typed Letter Signed
1p typed, measuring 8.5" x 11", no place, dated September 24, 2017. A printed email signed "Joey", addressed to Jay [Cooley] with the subject line "Thinking of you…" A chatty letter from the convicted mobster, inquiring about Jay's life and career. He writes in part: "Why of course I remember you…thanks so much for checking in on me, great to hear from you! Believe it or not I was gonna drop you a little hello to see how things were going on your end and your letter showed up, mental telepathy for sure!...All is good here & my health has been fine, thanks for asking. I try to stay on top that with yearly check ups and staying active. I workout doing some pull up, dips, push ups & on my off days some brisk walking, stoped [sic] running a few years ago it's additive n' I was getting to lean so now I just walk. For me it's the best medicine & keeps me in pretty good shape for n' old guy lol…I promise should I need something I will not hesitate to ask…" With flattened mail folds and a bold signature.
