American Silver-Plated Fire Parade Trumpet, late 19th century Marks: Stewart's Prize, (presentation inscription) 24 x 8-3/4 x 8-3/4 inches (61.0 x 22.2 x 22.2 cm) The trumpet is engraved in a fire-fighting motif depicting a pumper wagon, firemen's helmets, hooks, ladders, hoses and axes with two eagle's heads bearing rings for a sling strap, inscribed Won, By The, Central Hose Co., Running Team, Bradford-Pa, Sep 4th 1887.
