Antique Chinese Sung Dynasty square form glazed porcelain cylinder vase having ribbed designs to corners. Measures approx. 7 3/8" height x 6" width x 5 3/4" depth (18.7cm x 15.2cm x 14.6cm). Provenance: Professor WuJilu's Chinese porcelain collection of Sung & Ming Dynasty ceramics. Prof. Wu Jilu was a professor in Chinese Literature and an avid collector of Chinese porcelain antiques, especially those with strong Sung Dynastystyle & flavor. He owned a collection of over 100 items from China’s Sung, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. He had purchased most of those collections from various antiques shops and small auction houses across theworld over the past 25 years. Some of his antique collections were auctioned by major auction houses, such as Sotheby’s and China’s Guardian Auction in Hong Kong.
