Colbalt blue glass vase with hand painted polychrome enameled design of leaves, flowers and stylized birds (swans ?) most with gilt trim high lights, artist signed (Cirera) in gilt within the design, 9 ½ in. tall x 8 ¼ in. diameter at top x 4 ¾ in. diameter at bottom. Excellent condition. A European collector has shared with us some additional information that we think should be shared with any interested bidders. This person indicates that his research shows this piece to be the work of the noted Spanish glass decorator Genis Cirera Casanovas. the glass blank is from the Gardiola Factory in Mallorka. Made in 1940 -1955 era. While we have believed he did this and similar work for the Moser Glass Company, there is no definitive evidence to prove this.
