J. PAUL GETTY (1892-1976). American Businessman who Accumulated over a Billion Dollars in Profit from his Oil Investments.
Choice Group of FOUR (4) Partly-Printed Documents Signed, "J Paul Getty", each measures about 8" x 4", dated between July 3 and September 5, 1967, London, each Choice Extremely Fine. Being (4) Bank Checks made out in payment by Getty to different companies or charities. Each check was cashed, thus standard punch cancelled away from his signatures with a light red line once having been returned from the bank over each signature as an added security measure. All four Checks from the Chase Manhattan Bank in London, each bearing Getty's signature at bottom right in rich bold deep blue ink. A worthwhile group. (4 items).
