A CHINESE CARVED JADE WATERPOT, QING DYNASTY
7.5x6.5x6.5 cm
The water bowl is a water reservoir placed on the book table, and is generally used to store inkstone. This piece is carved from the white jade of the water bowl. The color is white and dense, warm and moving, and there are spots on the part. Its style is in the shape of beasts and birds, small and ancient, with fine evisceration, which reflects the elegant aesthetic taste of traditional literati. Its appearance is extremely simple and full of glamour, and the desk is suitable for viewing and clearing of the heart.
