DESCRIPTION: McKinley armchair designed by David Walcott Kendall (1851-1910). Arts and crafts chair made by the Phoenix Furniture Company or Grand Rapids, MI (founded 1870). Oak frame with cane seat and back. Circa 1894-1896. An example is exhibited at the Met Fifth Avenue in New York City. https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/4995 MEASUREMENTS: 29 " wide x 23-1/2 " deep x 34-3/4 " high; 17 " deep at base.
