Description
A group of two Chinese jade dragon hooks dating from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The larger one is carved with a Chilong. The smaller one has incised ruyi decoration.
Dimensions are: the larger hook measures 4 inches tall X 1 inches wide, 10.2 cm X 2.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in overall good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
