Various 1930's-1940's fashion illustrations, line sheets, designer notes, and sketches maintained in five black hard case loose-leaf folders.

THE FIRST
Various designer sketches with notes and fabric swatches, and line sheets.
Pencil and colored pencil on tracing paper and vellum.

THE SECOND
Various designer illustrations and sketches including, Ruth Aaron, Racy Earle, Edyth Sparag Studios INC, Dezine Studio, Minnie Abrams Studios, Caroline G. Davis, and unknown designers.

THE THIRD
Midtown Fashion Service, INC Line sketches, printed and some colored, designer sketches with notes, and line sheet packets.

Condition:The overall condition of the lot is good as each folder has a mix of condition issues. Most all paper items have yellowed due to age and some are stuck together either by tape, staples, or rusted paperclips or pins. The illustrations themselves are mostly in very good condition with some darkening around the edges. Designer sketches with notes are still legible and mostly intact. The folders are still in good working order though are worn along the spines and edges. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
