Very early 1852 edition of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" written by Harriet Beecher Stowe. This edition was published in London. Queen Victoria was said to have wept while reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin," and many believe the book was one of the instigating factors that led to the Civil War.
