Pair of Louis XVI-Style Polychromed Bergeres
19th century, each back with a molded frame extending to closed arms with foliate-and scroll-carved ends, on reeded supports with like rails and tapering legs, now upholstered in Scalamandre cinnabar "Melograno" with loose seat cushions.

Condition
In overall good condition. The frames exhibit some minor shrinkage separations, normal mars and wear, and scattered rubbing and losses to the polychromy.
Generally tight and functional but for one rear leg that is loose and should be reglued. Backs and arms serviceably tight.
The upholstery is in good condition with moderate wear. No rips or tears observed. A couple snags on one seat cushion. Seat cushions are reversible.
