A GROUP OF SIX SCROLL PAINTINGS
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Ink and watercolors on silk, mounted to brocade coated paper scrolls. Portrayed are immortals with attendants and other characters amid rocks, pine trees and swirling clouds, each depicting a different scenery. One scroll bearing the signature Qiu Ying.
Condition: All with stains, creases, and browning. Three with significant losses and tears, one with burn spots, the other three in better condition with minor tears along the edges.
Provenance: German private collection.
Dimensions: Approximate image size 125 x 16 cm each
